what verses did you use in your wedding?

Just looking to find out what verses people have used as 'mottos' or just flavor verses for their weddings. Could some people direct me to some good ones?

oo, that's a cool idea. We were looking for ways to include some sort of interesting Gospel message in with the ceremony. That's a very good idea.

Song of Sol 2: the bit about the spring coming. That is my fave verse of all time, so we had to include that. I can't remember the others. If you are really stuck I can go and watch the wedding vid and let you know.

It's not a Biblical verse, but verse it is. I understand that it's an old American Indian wedding blessig.

Actually I was in fact hoping to use that very blessing you quote I couldn't find it so well online though except on one site that called it "blessing of the apaches" and I wanted a better reference than that. Since you corroborate it I expect we'll be quoting it. Thanks (and good to see ya).

That's not the exact words we used, but it's really close. The details vary. If you google around a bit, you can find a longer one.

Strangly my wife and I can't remember what hymns we selected. We do remember saying "I Do" and that it was about 100 degrees.........
