What is your favorite piece of CF armor and why?

With so many great pieces out there, you might want to post more than once. You might like your piece because someone special gave it to you, because it fits your character's image, or because it was something you requested. Please feel free to include the special items and backgrounds as well.

These are the withgreatmercy Gator skin boots. I live in a swampy area, always trying to protect my little dogs from Gator varmits in the area.

They suit my character, a cowgirl, really well. I have never been to a rodeo, but I need protection from snakes, coyotes, and varmits that crawl out of the river. Yee Haw!

After Christmas I plan to get back into my nerdy vest. I guess I am a nerd at heart.

My favorite is probably the Alaskan parka...

The reason is because it looks very much like a seal skin parka I had in Alaska in the late 60's and 70's. My husband gave that one to me on our seventh wedding anniversary. (We have now been married 44 years so you can see this was a long time ago.) When I entered a room people used to stare...because it was so lovely. I wore it in the winters in Anchorage for years until, shall we say, I outgrew it...well it became too small for me. but then I used to be way too thin.

In 1992 my daughter had a big garage sale in Alaska where she sold it for me. We got back about 1/4 it's value, but the person who bought it was very pleased. I was thrilled to find one almost exactly like mine (with ermine trim and all) here on CF armor. Thanks CF and whoever put the parka in the armor.

yes...I will keep it...maybe we can all wear it next year in rememberance and reflect on our memories with him or something...

as far as which armor item(s) I like best...I'll have to think about it alittle...

I am keeping my "pickle" suit too to wear whenever I am in a pickle...but like Lily's vest I will get it back out after the Christmas season is over. Hopefully I won't get in a pickle before that. Yes, those rose colored glasses are way and you might notice I changed my hairdo in my character. Actually my hair has grown long and looks like this hairdo. I was pleased to find that one on the character items recently. We are really getting real here.

Well...I could be ashamed of all the armor I have...but this helmet is one of my very favorites...it goes with just about everything...

I returned my nanner suit after Yella passed away...but have kept the small banana. Keep thinking of and praying for his family.

yea Birdie, I did notice that new hairdo you have. Are those streaks highlights?
They don't have a hairdo similar to mine. I don't think they would be able to draw it. Anyway, my neat bonnet covers it when I get it back on. I gotta be cool now and look like Ms. Claus. I am hoping Mr. Claus gets in the Christmas spirit.

My hair is not frosted nor highlighted by me. It really is just my natural hair without any coloring added and pretty thick but some dark and light highlights, yes. It is about the same length as the character though--maybe a bit shorter on the sides since I trimmed it myself. This dry desert climate here makes it straight whereas it is usually wavy. So sometimes I say, who is that woman?
