Now we know that Peter said one day is with the Lord as a thousand years (2 Pet 3:8) and some may argue whether this is literally true or simply meant to indicate that to God a day is much longer than it is to us. Either way it seems clear that God sees a day very differently than we do.

So when the Scripture talks about the Day of The Lord I do not see this as simply referring to the 24 hour period of His return. Rather I see this as the thousand years spoken of in Revelation. This means that this day can encompass many events. This day dawns with what many call the great tribulation period and the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to gather His elect and stop those things going on upon the earth which threaten humanity with extinction and begin to establish His kingdom and end with Satans last stand and defeat and the general resurrection of the rest of the dead to be judged. All are resurrected on the same day, just not at the same time on the same day. Both houses of Israel are unified as is written in Ezekiel on that day. This is one of the signs the Jews are looking for Messiah to fulfill. Christ rules the nations with a rod of iron on that day (Psa 2:9, Rev 2:27, Rev 12:5, Rev 19:5).

Both houses of Israel are unified as is written in Ezekiel on that day. This is one of the signs the Jews are looking for Messiah to fulfill. Christ rules the nations with a “rod of iron” on that day (Psa 2:9, Rev 2:27, Rev 12:5, Rev 19:5).

The only way both houses of Israel [Judah and Israel] can be unified is by the same way us non-Jews/Israelites are saved, thru the Cross of JESUS.

Matthew 21:43 Therefore I am saying to ye, that shall be being taken-away from Ye [Law of Moses] the Kingdom of the God, and it shall be being given to a Nation [Faith of Abraham] doing the fruits of it.

Yes, I've often wondered why full preterist views are not allowed, especially given that CF seems open to many, many other views.

Talking of not believing.
Let me tell you this.
I was studying Rev. with a group of people ,they were giving me their idea and I was not agreeing ,this went on Into the night finally I was eased out of this group meeting By the elbow.
Being new to this ,I was feeling sorry for my self, and wondered how come I could be so wrong.Well it was around Xmas,
It was in the winter freezing out side, and me on a bridge overpass. I could not see more then three feet in front of my car ,with the snow blowing horizontally in front of me.
Well some thing entered my car ,I smelled like lilacs ,so Strong it made my eyes water, and hard to breath.
I said to my self, what now ,bad study group, a forty mile an hour blizzard ,and my car brakes down ,on a bridge ,in the middle mind you.
So out I go hood up and me felling around in a white out, a blizzard ,looked at my anti freeze ,water temp. and generally every thing else .Smelled the anti freeze ,not the same ,water level was up to normal smelled good ,car was purring like a kitten.
Got back in the car the smell that was so fast and overpowering, was still there.Started to move the car in this blizzard, open windows now,smell and all got to the other end of the bridge ,then the smell went away as fast as it came in.
The very next day had the car checked ,and it was in perfect shape ,could not tell where, or what the trouble was .No trace of me smelling the lilacs, no trouble.
well couple of weeks later I was told what it was, and it was not mechanical.And you wont believe what I was told .Now that is strange.I told the wife with no reaction.
And that is the Gods truth.
So if someone says that they come out smelling like lilacs don't laugh.walt2000

For the record, I stand corrected! Full Preterist views are permitted on CF over at the Unorthodox Theology area.

You don't have to defend your view - just explain it briefly. Or explain it with as much detail as you want. It can be a common view, a modified view or even a view unique to you. If you are thinking of possibilities or even don't have a view, then that's fine to post anything along those lines. I suspect there is a lot of diversity in this forum..

Jack has not a clue what he is talking about in Revelation in scripture.Reads neat paper ,pritty nice, that is all,but do's not know how to interpt. Revelations.If you think this is spam .Sorry I, in my opinion know he is wrong.I put the time in ,He violate's Rev.22/18,and that is it.look at your reward if your wrong.

The true interp.of Revelations is out there ,I have opened the little scroll.There is really not much more I can do .The ones that will see it,will ,it will be opened up,the ones that refuse to see it ,it will remain closed.
