Divna Ijuvojevic, I was unable to post any of her videos, however, if you go to Youtube, you can pull them up.

She is Serbian, Orthodox, and has the most beautiful voice I have ever heard.

All of her songs are either in Serbian, or, Old Church Slavonic (I think)

I don't speak either, but it's the voice, and rhythm of her music.

This is an old contemporary song, but it refocuses me on the price paid for my salvation. Wes Morgan.

These are all very unique from each other!

I've only really listened to Bach this week because of the Google Doodle featuring him. :p However, I think it's really fascinating that Bach was definitely a devout worshiper of God and seems to have had a personal relationship with Jesus. He studied the works of Martin Luther, whose hymns also played a part in some of his own compositions, and also studied the historical accounts of Josephus... Bach ended all his works with Soli Deo Gloria or "To God alone be the glory".

He's the first composer Google chose to try out their AI music technology. So it's all really amazing to think about the continued influence that worshiper of God has had through simply writing music to glorify Him! Talk about leaving a legacy and a branch that bore good fruit...

Here is my favorite of his works. Ironically, I became familiar with this one from an old 1980's computer game called "Big Mac"! So I included a video for that too. :D

Queen, always Queen. I'm absolutely obsessed with them. I couldn't tell you how many times I've looped The Show Must Go On these last couple of weeks alone for motivation in some aspects of my life.

I never knew Bach was a Christian! That's awesome.

Yeah, as a music composer who has dabbled a little bit in instrumental works, it inspires me to try even harder. Who knows how God could use it?

Heard this on my oldies station. "Babalu's Wedding Day" from 1959, by The Eternals. I'm a big fan of doo-wop music, but I'd never heard of this group. The song is really upbeat, with a Latin vibe that's very cool. Proves that some great songs never made the top 40.
