But it will eventually go there.

I hope not. One thing these past months have shown us is that both sides of the political aisle have contributed to this culture of sexual abuse - a sad sort of bipartisanism. Hopefully steps towards changing that culture will be bipartisan as well.

Well I guess based on which party gets their acts cleaned up first? It seems like so far the Dems are leaving office when it comes up.....

But we aren’t talking about gators are we? We are talking about human males who should be able to exercise self control.

And we shouldn't have bank robbers, street thugs,
thieves, etc. Some people choose to be bad, so why
bait them and cry foul when they strike?

I am sorry you have such a low opinion of your gender. The problem is the more modest one dresses that the more men will 1. blame women for being their victims and 2. Ratchet it up until showing any skin will be an excuse to rape a woman.

You gave excuses to shut down the debate, not
rational arguments. Human nature is not good,
especially when they think nobody sees what
they are doing, though many today are so self-
absorbed that they don't care what others feel
or think.

So if you are driving through a bad area of town and you get carjacked it is your fault, not the fault of the carjacker? You apparently think that it is always the victim's fault. Get real.

Christie insb did not provide excuses as you claim, she provided a rational argument. You seem to want to absolve the perpetrator of all blame and instead place the blame on the victim.

If you drive a Porsche through Detroit, you're asking to
be carjacked. If you're driving a pickup with a confederate
flag in the window through there, you're lucky if you only
get carjacked.

Not all the blame. Only the part that requires some
thought and discretion be shown.

Yes, just put the blame on the victim. It is all his/her fault. If a woman wears a short skirt she is asking to be raped. If a man drives a Porsche he is asking to be carjacked.

You are so wrong. The fault lies entirely with the lawbreaker, not with the victim.

Thought and discretion? Using your logic If you own a big beautiful home it is your fault if you suffer a burglary. If you go out wearing an expensive suit it is your fault if you are robbed.

No, the fault rests entirely with the lawbreaker.. You can keep repeating your false claims but you are wrong.

No - eventually one side or the other will be able to grab this issue and ride it in the rodeo.

If you leave the doors unlocked and don't take some
care to make your house secure, yes, you are partially
at fault if you get robbed. Same as if you leave your keys
or wallet on the seat of your car at the mall. Crimes of
opportunity. If you set out the temptation, take credit for
the result.

Luke 17:1-2
1 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences (temptations) will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend (tempt) one of these little ones.

The article said women are 6 times as likely to be harassed as men. I wonder if that means that most men do not report it, or maybe even do not see it as abusive.

Or are some women overly sensitive to nothing?
"That's a nice dress," can get you charged with harassment
if the woman doesn't like being complimented by men.

Wrong. The lawbreaker takes full responsibility. A law abiding citizen is not "partially at fault" simply because they don't lock their door or leave their keys in the car. You are now at fault if your home is robbed simply because you have an expensive home. And a woman who is raped or sexually harassed is not responsible for the rape or harassment simply because she wears a reveling outfit.

Try convincing your insurance company of that.

"I really wonder if God is allowing evil to be exposed for what it is and how prevalent in society it is."

Idk if God is allowing for it to be exposed at this time, due to something else.., such as the end of times?
