God is the origin of faith. The innate ability of the children of God to discern the voice of the shepherd is a gift like kindred spirits just connect.

• Isaiah 49:7 — Thus saith the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the Lord that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.
• 1 Corinthians 1:9 — God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

Edit - for those who don't know, IRL I work for a newspaper. Thursday evening - Saturday afternoon is the busiest time of the week for me, such that I sometimes end up sick from missing meals and not sleeping.
