What is the nourishment for our soul and the adorn for our neck?

• “My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: so shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.” (Proverbs 3.21,22).

Are we imparting to our soul what it needs to have life or are we only deceive it with substances that so only make it to feel full, but utterly short of “vitamins” e “nutrients”? See what Paul said about the Holy Supper:

• “For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are *weak and sickly* among you, and many sleep.” (1Corinthians 11.29,30).

Many people get weak and sick because they, although they make the Holy Spirit their drink and the Church their food (bread), they can’t discern that the purport of every meal is to put down every barrier that split up two or more people, as well as give them the opportunity to share themselves with each other (1Thessalonians 2.8).

As to our neck, are we adorn it with jewels or with the grace of Jesus Christ? In relation to marriage, what decorates the binding between husband and woman? Is the pleasure of the woman in receiving the grace of Jesus through the husband (and the delight of the husband in offering this grace unstintingly to his wife), or the honors and enjoyments that come from the world (John 5.34,44)?

May the wisdom and discretion of Jesus be the fuel that feed the life and grace of Christ in our lives, so that we can live healthy. Good weekend in Christ Jesus.
