1 Corinthians 15:38-44 KJV

38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

If you consider the whole context of this chapter, Paul is talking about our personal body, how it will be different after the resurrection/translation (resurrection of the dead, translation of the living; but we commonly use the term resurrection for both). So then, the terrestrial body is the body we have now, which is mortal. The celestial body will be immortal like angels that appeared to Mary, Jesus, and other saints of Old Testament times (Mark 12:25), and like that of Jesus' body after His resurrection (1 John 3:2).

Depending how you separate the passages, I count seven post-resurrection appearances of Jesus. It would make a good self study to go through these passages to see what Jesus' celestial body was like and thereby learn what our celestial body will be like. See the following:
  • Mat_28:9-10; Mar_16:9; Joh_20:14-17
  • Mar_16:12; Luk_24:15-31
  • Joh_20:19-23
  • Joh_20:26-29
  • Joh_21:1-23
  • Mat_28:17-20; Mar_16:14-18
  • Mar_16:19; Luk_24:50-51

That is the Body we shall have in eternity.. Uncorruptable perfect and eternal bodies..
