What is man that You are mindful of him

( Psalm 8:3-4 ) When I consider Your heavens, the works of your hands, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you visit him.

The Lord is so merciful and compassionate. I pray as He looks down from heaven today upon you wherever you are on this earth He would just give you a sense of wonder and encouragement of who He is, What He is doing on this earth, and how He truly cares for you knowing all of your ways, all of your concerns. And as we are touched with that sense of wonder may it inspire in us to be mindful of Him, to go ever onward with Him, to do all that which would please Him. Blessings to you all!

I had something happen between me and God.. the part I will share is.. I saw people not saved or lost I don't know just people and looking at all of them He was crying so hard because not one knew how much He loved them. So yes yes yes amen what is man that you are so mindful of him.

I was thinking about writing a part 2 of this at some point that centers on Colossians 1:15-23 That centers on His work in Creation, Why He came back, what He lost in the fall, and what the Church represents to Him, and why it is so important to Him. For I think you are right Blade, though He is a God that certainly knows what He is after, is omnipotent, and sees the finished work, somehow, at the same time He is also a God that can grieve. He cannot only grieve over the lost, but He can certainly grieve over His body also, who was to be the firstborn out of creation, the beginning so to speak to right the ship of all that went wrong, that He would have the preeminence again in creation, to reconcile it through the cross, that He would be all in all. I pray we can be that body for Him, for it is so dearly important to Him. For His sake I pray we can come into who we are supposed to be.

Thank you for responding dear friend. May the Lord answer your prayers and thoughts and concerns for the lost.

I had something like that happen to me too. I was reading Hosea and tears started pouring down my face but I was aware that it wasn't my tears, they were God's. Weird.

One particular day I was in Montana somewhere and just began to sob as I drove through various places for what seemed like a long time. I can only reconcile that it must be the Lords heart that moves upon us when something like that happens, just recalling it as I write it moves me to tears even now.

One particular day I was in Montana somewhere and just began to sob as I drove through various places for what seemed like a long time. I can only reconcile that it must be the Lords heart that moves upon us when something like that happens, just recalling it as I write it moves me to tears even now.

If you had asked me to come up with a thousand guesses as to what responses I might get from this post I would have never come up with an 80's tribute song dedicated to me lol! As a graduate of high school in the early 80s and coming into my 20's then I am well aware of this era of music. Took me back to another time and another life.
