    "What is heaven like?"

In God's love we now can experience what Heaven is like >

"Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." (Romans 5:5)

Heaven is like "the love of God" which "has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit". The Holy Spirit now in us children of God is Heaven's own Spirit of Heaven's own love. So, in us we now are already experiencing what Heaven is like, as much as we have grown in Jesus and are living this love.

So, what is Heaven's love in us like? One scripture which helps me to know what Heaven's love is like is 1 Peter 3:4 >

"rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." (1 Peter 3:4)

God is very pleased with "the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit". And in Heaven our Father is so pleased with Jesus. And Jesus is "gentle and lowly in heart" (Matthew 11:29), which I see is like how "a gentle and quiet spirit" is pleasing to God. So, from this I get that God's love in Heaven is gentle and quiet, and this makes us pleasing to God like Jesus is so pleasing, as much as we have grown in Jesus.

Also, Peter says this "beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit" is "incorruptible" > in the gentleness and quiet rest of God's love, we enjoy how love can not be corrupted by anger and fear and lusts and unforgiveness and boredom and loneliness. Because the "incorruptible beauty" of God's love has almighty power so no evil can mess with God, or with us as much as we live in this love. And this is how Heaven is; Heaven has almighty immunity of power against Satan and all evil.

So, by living God's love, we now can experience what Heaven is like. In our Father's love, we share and care as His family > being "tenderhearted" (Ephesians 4:32) with one another. And God's love is all-loving > Jesus says, "if you love those who love you, what reward have you?" (in Matthew 5:46) > so, we experience Heaven, by living in God's all-loving love, and not in our own selfish ways of love which has us picking and choosing whom we judge to be worth loving . . . often, ones we want to use and possess and control.

But in God's love, we live in submission to Him in His peace >

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15)

And this "peace of God" is God's own peace which, also, is Heaven's peace, which rules in us while we obey God in this peace. So, while we obey God, the way the Bible means, already we are experiencing what Heaven is like . . . submissive to God in this peace.
