Heb 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Heb 13:20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

What do you think God is saying in those verses?

Since the New Covenant has made the Old Covenant "obsolete" in Hebrews 8:13, God is not going back to the Old Covenant during a future time with the modern State of Israel as some Dispensationalists imply.

The New Covenant is "everlasting" in Hebrews 13:20. Therefore, it does not end before the Second Coming of Christ. The Dispensational claim that the age of Grace ends seven years before the Second Coming of Christ does not agree with this verse.

Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, modern Dispensational Theology falls apart, and the pretrib removal of the Church falls with it.

When did the nation of Israel accept the New Covenant?

Did they not reject God when they stoned Stephen in Acts 7?

When did the nation of Israel accept the New Covenant?

The "remnant" of Israel described in Romans 9:6-8, and Romans 9:27, and Romans 11:5, accepted Christ starting on the Day of Pentecost. See the words of Peter below on the Day of Pentecost, which are almost always ignored by Dispensationalists.

Act 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

Act 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Act 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Act 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Act 2:40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
Act 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Nobody gets into the New Covenant without being individually "born again" of the Spirit of God, through repentance and faith. (Ephesians 1:13) The Holy Spirit is the master teacher promised in Jeremiah 31:34, and John 14:26, and found fulfilled below.

1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Do you know when the nation of Israel accepted the old covenant? Was it when Moses receive the 10 commandments?

And looking at Acts 2:47 , it reads Andnthe Lord was ADDING / PROSTITHEMI is in the Greek Imperfect tense Active Voice and in the Indicative Mood .

The Imperfect tense means that Jesus began to ADD to that assembly and then STOPPED .

Why did Jesus STOP , because Jesus set aside Israel as a nation Acts 28:28 as Paul would then turn to the Gentiles and 2 Cor 3:10-15 tells you why .

Since I personally know Christians from Jewish backgrounds, your statement above cannot be correct.

Thousands of young Israelis are now coming to faith in Christ. Apparently, they do not agree with you either.

And I checked the KJV , NIV , ESV , CSB and they all have Acts 2:47 , PROSTITHEMI as being in the IMPERFECT TENSE , ACTIVE and a INDFICATIVE MOOD .

Why not check the Greek text and SEE ?

Then you have missed, or misunderstood, the master teacher promised in Jeremiah 31:34, and in the words of Christ below.

Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

The fulfillment is found below.
It is the Holy Spirit which is the master teacher of New Covenant believers.

1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

And John 14:26 reads like this .

The Greek words WILL SEND /PEMPO is in the Future Tense , Active Voice , and in Indicative Mood .

So when in the future will this happen , not yet is what I have seen .

And Shall Teach / Didasko is also in the Future tense , and yet to have seen this happen ?

The Greek word BRING / HYPOMIMNESKO is also in the Future Tense , not seen yet as Israel still has a Vail on it's Heart , 2 Cor 3:13-15 .

But what ever I HAVE SAID / EIPON is in the Greek 2 Aorist tense and in the Active voice and in the Indicative Mood of Fact and the Aorist tense means that Israel has had the word spoken to them in PAST TIME and in the future they will understand what God has spoken to them .

So I believe dispensationaim reigns today with out a DOUBT .

Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Have you read Acts chapter 2? Was the Spirit poured in Jerusalem on the Day of Pentecost?

Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Have you read what John the Baptist said below, as confirmed later by the words of Peter at the house of Cornelius?

Luk 3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:

Act 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
Act 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.

Based on the verses below nobody can be a believer without being "born-again" of the Spirit of God.

Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh,
but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Eph 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

And I will be leaving at 6 PM and can not reply until Thursday .

And John the Baptist did baptize , BUT you will be BAPTIZED with HOLY SPIRIT .
I left out the word THE , and should read " WITH HOLY SPIRIT " because the Greek article " THE " is not kin the Greek text and easy to check if you a HEBREW and GREEK INTERLINER BIBLE .

A book has been written , showing where are the Greek articles " THE " is written .
If it says with ": the HOLY SPIRIT " it means the Indwelling of the HOLY SPIRIT .

If it reads " WITH HOLY SPIRIT " it mans with " POWER HOLY SPIRIT ' like at what happened in Acts 2:4 and also in Acts 19:2 an then means POWER OF HOLY SPIRIT .

Notice verse in Acts 19:4 John indeed BAPTIZED / BAPTIZO ( WATER ) with a BAPTISMA of repentance .

From what I understand of Scofield and his version of Dispensationalism, is that he would not agree with Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

And are you speculating as Heb 13:8 as the Greek word Jesus is in the Nominative Case which means Jesus is the Subject of verse 8 as is Christ .

EVER / AION still means eternal , forever or age .

From what I understand of Scofield and his version of Dispensationalism, is that he would not agree with Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

What that verse is saying is that God's attributes are unchanging, they are indeed the same at all times.

What you interpret that verse as saying is that God does not change his instructions to Man on how they should relate to him, which is not what that verse meant.

Example, God commanded physical circumcision in all Jewish males for them to be right with him (Genesis 17:14) in time past.

But now physical circumcision is no longer commanded (Galatians 5:2)

And there are many changes , when shifting fro LAW to GRACE .

Like the resurrection .

Our INHERITANCE

We will have a new body

We will govern ANGEL'S

Just to name a few things.
