What Is A Christian? (Poll)

I started off a thread under the title "What is a Christian?"

There have now been seven answers with a definition of three words of less.

Which do you prefer as a definition?

I say Jesus' disciples. We are to actively follow Jesus, not just believe. 'cause even the demons believe and are afriad.

All of the above would have been good. But I chose Christ like.
Somehow little Christ does not sit right in my mind. It seems to imply we are Christ. But Hey! what do I know?
I did choose Christ like because He did all the things He commands His disciples to do.

I choose Christ-like, because we who believe in Christ are Christ-like.

I was the one who put little Christ, becuase that's what it technically means.

Besides if we are to be just like Christ, shouldn't we show a "little Christ" in our lives? Just thought that was interesting....

I too think that an "all of the above" catagory would have been good.

I chose God's child, because when we became christians He adopted us into His family.

I like that. Makes it very personal. (What I believe christianity is a personal relationship with our Heavnly Father through Jesus. Not a religion).

I was the one who come out with these three definations, and of all, I like Christ-like best!

I chose saved sinners coz we are all sinners unworthy to partake the love of God but God gave His love anyway through Jesus.

It all depend on who you ask. If you ask someone who believes you can lose your salvation, then they will definitely not choose 'saved sinner'.

"Believers of Christ" is true, but incomplete, since Christians are "acceptors of Christ," unlike the demons who also believe. "God's child" is a good one, since all throughout scripture, only God's followers have been called his children (and if you follow, then you've accepted him, and if you've accepted him, you believe in him). "Saved sinners," and "Forgiven" are basically the same thing (if you're forgiven, you're saved. If you're saved, you're forgiven). "Christ-like," "Jesus' Disciples," and "little Christ" imply following Christ, which is nearly identical to "God's child."

I put "forgiven," though, since that specifically sums both belief and acceptance of Christ.
