I remember seeing a scene from a film staring Meryl Streep, in which the character she plays is in an argument with what seemed to be a university professor who is adamantly stating Charles Dickens did not exist. She clearly disagrees and is trying to say something, but he won't let her, and she eventually collapses.

Any ideas?

I have searched for this film several times online over the years, but can't locate it and I have asked others. I have searched through dialog from her films, still nothing. But I know the scene exists. I can't believe this scene exists in some film and no one remembers it.
