What does God's Word really say about a person being transgender?

I was thinking about specifically a child. There are stories of little children who feel that they were born into the wrong sex. I am not a parent so I cannot personally relate, so I have no idea what would the Lord say about a child who is transgender. I don't like it when some people refer to transgenders, especially transgender children as he/she, or it, and also, freaks. To me, that just smacks of ignorance. I feel that calling someone he/she, it, or freaks is rude. My question is, why should a child who is transgender be made to feel as if they are less than because of how they believe or feel versus what gender they were born? I am a bit confused about transgender issues because I don't see how a transgender would be LGBT. Is it considered a sin and if so, why? Is being a transgender child (or adult) about their confusion or rather about us who are not transgender?

The basis of scripture does not allow for gender discrimination.

"Treat others in the same way as you would have them treat you."

For this is the essence of the Law and the Prophets.

Jesus came to fulfill the law and complete it.

This does not allow for any gender discrimination for others.

We are also called to treat ourselves well, but this is secondary
to how we treat others.

I think you'll find he was ironically referring to what the world itself considers a "sin"...

and tell other name callers to take-a-hike. For
example, if someone calls you a sinner or a lier
you can dismiss their opinions for any reason.

For scriptural examples, Christians have been
called drunks, and one prostitute was considered
guilty and deserving of stoning. She did not
agree that she was deserving of death and
neither did Jesus.

We all get to create our own reality.

God does not make mistakes and in all circumstances praise the lord. Whatever God gives us be happy. If you are born male you were meant to be a man and if you were born female then you were meant to be a woman. We are not to judge. Love the sinner, hate the sin.

100's of thousands are born "in-between". Gender is a spectrum in reality.
Then there is a second issue of where on the spectrum people see themselves.
You may think of yourself as a baby-maker, another as a glamor girl, and
another as the "man" of the family. Or no family.

What are you basing this on? I believe if you are born with female genitalia then you are female and if you are born with male genitalia then you are male.

Where does reality fit in to this. If there are those that see themselves as dogs, does that make them dogs? I made a choice to believe God and the Bible as the inspired word of God.
