What do you think people look for in an ideal life partner? (Part 1)

What ten questions should people always ask their partner before they decide to get married?

When it comes to ideal person, such a person doesn’t exist. One of the motives for which most of the marriages go wrong is because people don’t allow for this sooth. They surround themselves of illusions biding to come across the person that will idolize them and carry out all their desires.

The ten things that matter most as regards marriage:

First: to have Jesus in their inner most. After all, Jesus is love (1John 4.8,16). Turn Jesus and His Word down on a daily basis will do the marriage fall apart. Nobody can rely on the love of the other, given that we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away (Isaiah 64.6).
Lean on a human being means curse yourself (Jer 17.5,9).

Second: To abide by the project that the Creator established to home. If the couple leave out a single instruction gave by Jesus; if the couple mix up the roles (that is, if the husband live the role of the wife and vice-versa); or if nobody in the family seek to know who is and what is their mission here in this world (see Psalms 25.14), duly they will have to deal with a broken home.

Blame it on movies.I think it goes back even longer though. You only have to read tales of courtly love to see the idea of 'love at first sight' at work. It's a powerful literary device, but it makes for miserable relationships once the shine dulls.
