What do you guys and gals think of David Hicks, the Adelaide man who went to fight with the Taliban? Weird, huh!

One thing led to another I guess. He wanted adventure. He was influenced by some groups to go over and fight and they paid for his expenses and other arrangements.

Some people go hiking to Kathmandu and join a monastry. Some people join a triad and end up selling drugs. This dude went over to Kosovo and ended up fighting for a terrorist group in Afganistan.

It sounds trite: but it does matter who you mix with and which friends you choose to have.

Did anyone here about the suicide bomber that happened in Lara near Geelong this morning in front of the RSL? Any more news about this?
