what do you think beast of the earth is?

    21st Century King James Version

And God said, "Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth after his kind"; and it was so.

    King James Version

And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

the beast of the earth seems to be separate from the living creature, cattle; domestic animals or mammals perhaps, and creeping things; insects.

is the beast of the earth reptiles? is it something generated from the darkness, as opposed to that according to the template of the living creature, as mentioned in the vision of Ezekiel; man, cow, eagle and lion. No face of reptiles, or insects.

for a few years now, i have had a waky theory, that reptilian lifeforms are an aberation, not snakes especially, but flies, spiders and creatures that give rise to reactions of fear in people; perhaps they were not part of the original creation, but are some sort of aberation, caused by the fall?
there is something in my mind which reacts when i see maggots. as death was not part of the original plan, maggots signify something hideous and deathly.

what i mean by reptilian, is not the classification of animals, but a corruption of lifeforms that came about in the original plan of life, which was originally good. i think there is a mystery here, and i am not a believer in evolution, but creation, and something went wrong, so that some of us react with horror, with spiders, snakes and maggots. Spiders being a major perhaps, i dunno, something beautiful but horrific lifeform, not part of the plan. Or was it? Is the no death idea just some sort of metaphore?

i suppose we could say that spiders spinning webs and catching flies is good? dosn't seem to be. what was a web for but to catch a fly?
i suppose it must have been like that from the beginning. what about the poisons that spiders and snakes have, that can't be considered good. so something must have happened to the original good creation, if the creation really was good. it was good according to the Genesis account.

some people don't believe in creation because it appears to be so bad, with all the diseases etc. so creationists say that it wasn't like that originally. so what happened exactly? what do you think happened? i am thinking that if the spider started out as something that was not so horrific, not so poisonous, and perhaps we wouldn't have been afraid of what it was originally? I don't know what the answer is. Some gnostics end up thinking that the creation was causes by the demiurge, Yahweh was an inferior god, who thought that he was God almighty. I don't go along with that; that is just speculation, to try to figure out why the creation is so bad now.

    Hello!

I think insects are a necessary part of our biosphere and were here from the beginning. They perform all kinds of useful functions such as breaking down plant matter, pollinating plants, aerating the soil, and so forth. They help keep the place clean. I think of them as little robots, automatons, with the ability to move from place to place to perform their functions.

I agree with you that when we fell, the creation underneath us fell, too.

Btw, here's an article about some newly-discovered vegetarian spiders. That site also has stories of other animals that are unexpectedly vegetarian, such as cats. Interesting speculation about our past, I think.

I don't know what the "beasts of the earth" were, but since all of creation is called "very good", I don't think they couldn't have been evil from the start. Imo, anyway.

These scripture verses show how things inherently change due to the change in man's God given image authority.

That when handed over to a fallen angel, all creation had to be under satans dominion.

Gen:3:14: And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

Gen:3:21: Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

Because sin entered in by man's disobediance, the creation of everything took onto itself the curse of the devil, it had no choice, because the man handed his authority over God's creation into the hands of satan,

God did not curse the creation,
He spoke of the results of what inherently takes place when creation is in the hands of satan, that which was Perfectly GOOD, is now reversed,
that's why JESUS had to take on human form, to have the rightful place in human history, to reverse the curse, and cause human's to be back into the image of God, just as adam was before the fall.

The whole gospel of JESUS CHRIST, is that HE came as the second adam, a human in perfect state, the way adam and issha (woman) were before they handed there image of God authority over to the devil.

He came with adams Blessing, (that same Blessing which, Abraham recieved by faith, with covenant with God)
as the only human being that could do this because all humans were born under the curse, Jesus wasn't under the curse, so He can bring adams authority Blessing back to mankind, so we can continue to carry out the work of God that adam and issha were given before the fall.

Thank God Jesus came to reverse the curse.

Gal:3:13: Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

14: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

The "beast of the earth" is the earth shaped as the beast. It is a lion with an eagle for it's head. it has done bad things as predicted.

Its a big question, but it is more than likely a picture of false religions and a picture of the satanic kingdoms, beginning with the first to rise from the earth at the tower of Babel.........which is where Babylon got its name, which is why Nebachadnesser was told he was the head of gold, his nation was the foundation of all false religions

then if you follow the story in this manor you will find a major false religion procedes from each biblical nation mentioned..........we all know what Rome produced

but in regard to your reptillion theory, I actually agree in the notion that demonic spirits are likely to manifest much like their leader satan the ole snake, I think like the bible teaches evil spirits can live inside humans and those around them could be none the wiser, as long as the person didn't have to many as the man who called his name legion, because he had so many spirits waring inside him it drove him crazy

I think alot of these secret societies and there occult practices and initiations open doors for these entities to live inside them. I'm guessing most do not even know they are carrying an evil spirit along inside them. and the spirit has ways to use that person at will, either with the persons knowledge or without

I think they were referring to large aggressive animals. Tame or harmless creatures seemed to be named.
You'll find much of our natural language usage comes from scripture.
