Do you drink coffee yet? Lol, sorry this is kind of a boring topic. I just saw this video about what people eat for breakfast around the world & now I'm curious. Lately I've been having scrambled eggs with cheese for breakfast & an orange or something but we're out of eggs so I had cereal.

I think I'm a cereal eater mostly, but lately I've been more toast and jam.
I also eat yoghurt and granola plus fruit smoothies.
I'm not too keen on eggs but I do like scrambled.
Oh, and a friend showed me how to make birds in a nest so sometimes we do that too.

I'd never heard of a bird in a nest but I looked it up & it looks great! I'll try it for breakfast tomorrow bc we're going to the grocery store today & will get more eggs!

Awesome!! Let me know if you like it. It's yumalicious with maple syrup :)

Edited to add: I've never done it with cheese...I will have to try that.
We add cinnamon to the buttered bread and when we cook the egg, we break the yoke and serve it with maple syrup.
I guess there are so many ways to do it. We always eat this when we go camping...we cook it on an open fire. My dad likes his with strawberry jam. I always say yuck to that lol

I had it this morning! Nom, nom, nom. :D Thanks for telling me about it. Next time I'll try it with cheese. Then maybe with the maple syrup. That sounds sort of like it would taste like a healthier McGridle! Or French Toast. Yum.

I'm all messed up with my circadian rhythms here so here I am awake reading posts lol
We call birds in a nest. 'Toads in a hole' haha must be us country hicks.
I agree they are sublime with fresh maple syrup (but cook the yokes)

Hot chocolate, bread (toasts) with butter, honey or jam. Croissants on birthdays and coffee before exams, cereals sometimes too. Not salted for me, I am too French for that!

We had hot chocolate available for breakfast at the camp I just came back from & I have to say it's the perfect way to start the day. :D Sugar in the morning makes me happy.

My baseball coach got me into eating a high protein breakfast a few years back so that's what I've stuck with. I eat 4 eggs and bacon. Usually hardboiled eggs & precooked bacon, on the way out the door. With more time will fry them up. Sounds like heart attack on a plate but I do a pretty heavy workout. The protein does help.

I had bread and juice in the morning. For tomorrow's breakfast, I am going to try a recipe from the guide régime. I found about this diet book from the internet
I hope my family loves the breakfast.
