I'm partial to oversized Belgian Sheepdogs and Presa Canarios.

The sheepdog in my album here was about 17 at the time of the picture.

I owned several dogs. All, except the first, were rescued dogs. They all had their diamonds in the rough.
Of these dogs, the closest and strongest relationship was with a Red Kelpie.

Consider strongly getting another dog first, since you have never owned a dog. Tamaskan's have high prey drive, independent nature and require an owner experienced in dealing with difficult, strong willed breeds. They are beautiful and good dogs in the right environment.

Those are what we own now. We also foster rescued Bostons. Our Ridgeback is like a benevolent dictator with the 3 Bostons in the house now. It is so cute.

Lassie LOL I mean collies Then Little Lassies (Shelties) but actually I love most all animals especially dogs and even animals I don't care as much for I would NEVER want to see them hurt, cold, hot, hungry, thirsty, well you get the idea I have loved all my dogs the same but the best dog I ever had was a part collie
