Still going from cover to cover, im in hebrews right now. Im trying to learn the cultural context of everything, book by book. and im waiting for God to drop a grenade-verse on me again.

Grenade verses are great, I remember the night I read John 15:1-6 and man I'm still impacted by that. Hebrews I think is one of my favorite books. So much theology about Jesus. One of my favorite passages in Hebrews 2:14-18. Blessings! I'll pray for revelation for you!

Joshua Berman's book, "Ani Maamin" where he criticizes the Documentary Hypothesis. I'll probably check out his academic journal articles when I finish.

Similar to Br4nd0n, I'm reading from cover to cover as well. Currently I'm on Proverbs, trying to get more common sense.

 

[Arctangent]

I read 4 chapters out of the Old Testament (minus the Psalms), 2 chapters from the New Testament, and a few Psalms (I read through the Psalter on its own rotation). I am currently at 2 Chronicles and 1 Corinthians.
