In Acts 19:2 Paul met certain disciples and these disciples have not hard of the Holy Spirit and just means they were not at Pentecost in Acts 2 !

Then , notice in Acts 3 , and these disciples said , they did not hear whether there is HOLY SPIRIT , and notice the it does not say " THE " HOLY SPIRIT , because the Greek article " THE " is not in thre Greek text .

If it would read THE HOLY SPIRIT it would means the Indwelling of the HOLY SPIRIT !

If it reads just HOLY SPIRIT / without the Greek article " THE " it means the POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT .

And in verse 3 Paul asks them For what was the reason were you BAPTIED FOR ?

And the ones said into the BAPTISM of John !

But that is Not what the Greek text says !

It says , the ones said into the BAPTISMA of John !

The Greek word BAPTISMA just means that John is a Baptizer of water !

Then in verse 4 says that indeed John was water BAPTIZO , with a BAPTISMA , which means a Baptizer and John baptizer , that is , in the JESUS .

This why Paul could NEVER baptize Lest anyone should say that I had BAPTIZED for my name . as written in 1 Cor 1:15 .

Verse 15 , for MINE OWN / EMOS is a Personal Possessive Pronoun and in the ACCUSATIVE CASE . Paul never had the authority to water baptize .

The Greek word BAPTISMA is used 22 times from Matthew and ends in Eph 4:5 where it reads One Lord , One Faith , One BAPTISMA .

In verse 5 they were BAPTIZO , notice this , were Baptizo in the name of the Lord Jesus and verse 6 Paul laid hands upon them , HOLY SPIRIT came upon them and they were Speaking in languages and were prophesying .

1 Corinthians 1:
14 I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius,
15 lest anyone should say that I had baptized in my own name.
16
Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas. Besides, I do not know
whether I baptized any other.
17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom
of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect.

What authority do you think is needed to baptize? I suppose some
organizations require ordination within the church to baptize. Not the issue back then.
The issue here was
a mistaken loyalty to Paul over Apollos or Cephas.
Paul rarely baptized for the same reason as the Lord did not.
It is not that big of a deal. He let his disciples handle that.

John 4:
1
Therefore, when the Lord knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made
and baptized more disciples than John
2 (though Jesus Himself did not baptize, but His disciples),
3 He left Judea and departed again to Galilee.

And I just found a OP that I have not replied too.

And if ANYONE should check the Greek text of 1 Cor 1:15 , the second Greek word in that verse in UN , and this is what it means .

That Greek word UN , is a DISJUNCTIVE PARTICLE NEGATIVE .

All can than check A MANUEL GRAMMAR of the GREEK NEW TESTAMENT , by DANA and MANTEY in page 264 and see that there is another NEGATIVE , OV .

And OV and UN mean that , I Paul have never water BAPTIZE and that is FINALLLLLLLLLLL.
