There are in fact several wonder working "non- canonical" Icons

See
Non-Canonical Wonderworking Icons

We must also look at things historically. Look at the Old Believers. Everything they did that was considered non-canonical is now canonical. They are brought into the Church and renamed the Old Rite, yet they didn't have to change any practices despite the canons.

But you are using a fallacious argument, by conflating two different definitions of "non-canonical."

The icons - yes, some which are wonderworking - that are non-canonical are non-canonical because they don't display proper theology. Many people feel that portraying God the Father is non-canonical because it doesn't express Who God the Father is - in that we can't comprehend the Divine Essence, and nothing we can make can compare to what He is - which is why God forbade images which represent Him in the Old Testament.

We only know who God is in His Fullness through Christ.

The Old Believers had nothing wrong theologically about their Rite or Praxis - they were just attached to the Old Liturgy before Patirarch Nikon forced a modernization of the Rite. They were non-canonical not because they didn't express right theology, but because they broke Communion with the Church.
