Were in the bible does it say the soul is immortal?
Nowhere. Immortality is not a property of a soul. But God can keep it alive for ever. I.e. the immortality is given by grace. Were in the bible does it say the soul is immortal?

There's a rather gloomy reference to it in Matthew:
Mat 10:28 - “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

We are to be resurrected just like Jesus was resurrected and we will live forever. Thats my take on this. Were in the bible does it say the soul is immortal?
And Yahuweh is able to kill the body AND the soul - thus no more immortal soul then. The meaning of it is that men can only kill the body with physical death but cannot kill the soul. The implication is that the soul continues on after the death of the body. Hence the body is mortal while the soul is immortal.
Most people are destined for destruction, not to live forever, according to Scripture. We are to be resurrected just like Jesus was resurrected and we will live forever. Thats my take on this.

Or .... destroy means destroy. Not keep alive forever in torment.
Works quite well in conjunction with Romans 6:23: The soul that sins; it shall die.
The very definition of immortal is undying. You know, the precise opposite of what the above verse says the soul is capable of: death.
You're going to have to raise that in the Controversial Christianity forum. Annihilationism isn't allowed in this forum.
