Of course, some states will count for another week or two (e.g. CA and Alaska). This is nothing new. PA will take forever, included ballots that will be subject to the result of court cases. This is nothing new. After all, the first states don't certify for at least 2 days of the election.
==============
That being said, a lot will likely be known. There will be lots of results everywhere, but especially in FL and TX. FL has had over 50% of the registered voters already vote. These are already being counted. Add the actual voting on election Day, and the vast majority will have been counted by midnight.

We won't have a "final" vote because of the suppression in WI, MI, PA and NC, but we will know a lot.
