iTunes also has many sermons available from many Calvary Chapel pastors (including sermons by Chuck Smith). I have an app on my phone called Back2Basics (Back To Basics) which has sermons on several books of the Bible, expository teaching (verse by verse). The Calvary Chapel pastor who teaches these sermons is Brian Boderson and he is really good, and easy to listen to.

Harvest Christian Fellowship (Riverside - Greg Laurie)
Maranatha San Diego (Mike Macintosh)
Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa (back when Chuck Smith was Pastor)
Calvary Chapel Wildomar
Calvary Chapel Laguna Beach

Welcome to everyone from Calvary Chapel, I look forward to conversing with you.

I like CSN international, online.

it lets you see who is speaking, then you can go to their site and listen to them.

I really like Jon Courson, probably my favorite right now.

He has an MP3 of the whole Bible, it's pricey, about 100 bucks.

but I am sure you can listen on itunes, etc to him too.

I also like skip heitzig.

and of course chuck smith.

I tend to like chuck smith at speed and a half.

talks like a chipmunk but, better for me.

Chuck Smith was my pastor when I was in grade school, we lived a few blocks from the main campus. I was a horrible sinner back then but God was just beginning to reach my heart. The concerts at Calvary Costa Mesa helped me meet my savior Jesus. https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=calvary chapel costa mesa in the 70's&qs=n&form=QBIR&pq=calvary chapel costa mesa in the 70's&sc=0-0&sp=-1&sk=

I love costa mesa concerts.

My favorite is Jeremy Camp when he was still up and coming....He was part of "worship Generation"

hi all. sorry but ive never heard of the cavalry chapel church. but I am interested in learning about your church so welcome.

I am very proud of what calvary chapel has stood for in the past.

I believe, to me it revolves around expository preaching.

pastor's have to love the Bible, and I mean love it....to survive.

a typical seminary grad, won't cut it.

most of the pastors I have seen in this movement never went to Bible College, and got their theology training from chuck's expository tapes through the Bible.

the ministry still exists, it's called fire fighters for Christ.

because of Calvary Chapels love for teaching cover to cover, the Bible.

it grew and grew and grew.

I have attended two other churches other than calvary chapel.

a reformed church, and a non denominational church.

I even left calvary chapel, ultimately to come back to it.

I remember Chuck smith mentioning Haley's Bible Handbook many times, I grabbed a copy,

and in the Book it says "the most important thing in this book"

and it was that people read the Bible cover to cover, and that the sermon on sunday come from a verse by verse exposition and daily reading.

He goes into how this blesses the church more than any growth seminar, or evangelism tactic, or anything else.

if you feed the sheep, they will come.

healthy sheep reproduce.

and that is in a nutshell, what calvary chapel is about.

i recently discovered Calvary Chapel on the radio, although i don't attend a Calvary Chapel Church.

I use to listen to Chuck Smith on the radio. I just love that man! I cried and cried the day he died...fell to the floor where I remained for some time, then wiped my tears with the dust ruffle. He greatly impacted my life. ♡

Bless yer heart (((hug)))

He has quite a legacy. He started Calvary Chapel, didn't he?

I was listening to him the other morning and he was speaking on the Old Testament. I was riveted. He KNEW his stuff.

We recently moved to Monterey, CA and started attending Calvary Monterey. We're really enjoying it.

While we were in Hawai'i, we tried out Calvary Chapel Pearl Harbor, but ultimately settled at a Foursquare church out there.

I appreciate the sermons here at Calvary more than I did at the church on O'ahu, I must admit. It's a nice atmosphere.
