Hello BarbaraJean & Friends..

I just wanted to say that our Aunt went to be with the Lord yesterday. She is in a new body and no more pain. How awesome when God is ready, He is ready. Sometimes we want to keep our loved ones around, (For ourselves)because grieving is just the worst. Oh have I been guilty of that. The pain she had endured for so long, is now gone..
I wrote a poem a few years ago that I would like to share. For those of you with loved ones that may be sick or you feel as though your prayers are not making it through, God is in Control. This poem is for you..


WELCOME HOME

I know that you alone my God can calm the stormy sea,
The distant waves rush to the shores of my past,
I lay it all down at Your feet.
I know You can just speak the words,
STILL WATERS in the palm of Your Hands,
The Bread of Life, Savior of my Soul,
Just two words "YOU ARE" "I AM."
Tears of joy and songs to sing,
I have dreamed of this place foretold,
Where the angels will raise their wings in Praise,
And the saints will never grow old.
As we stand upon this promise Oh God,
The seal of hope remains, You Cannot lie, We will never die,
You are a God that does not change.
The Sting of Death we will not see,
The clutches of Pain are Gone,
To those who believe and trust in Him,
My Child....

Yes, it is a lot of fun and yes, it is a lot of work! But well worth it!

when does church camp start?

Well, we leave Monday morning for 6 days of Campmeeting. Then we have a week free. Then we have 3 straight weeks of youth camp.

wow I never heard of 3 weeks for youth camp. Thats quite awhile. Are you going to be there the whole time?

Well, it's on a state level. And our facilities can house only about 300 kids. So we have 3 weeks started with teens.

Yep! But I've taken on an easier job. I now work the concession stand which is great because I don't have to be the bad guy.
