The Metalcore band War of Ages released an album recently and it totally slaps! Filled with praise to our king, any Christian Metalhead would love to have this work of art. Here's the first song from the album:

Petra: one of the great bands that had over a 50 year career.

I had no idea they were still around! I had a couple of their vinyl albums from the 80s and saw them a number of times. I think they were, Not of the World, Beat the System, Captured in Time and Space, and Back to the Street in college.

They celebrated their 50-year career in the last couple of years. Some of the members still do side projects such as "Salt" and such. I think the band known as Petra is not still producing content but I could be wrong about that. What I do know, is that they produce some really great music.

On my sixth birthday, my parents called the local radio station (as the internet did not exist yet) and they had the radio station pray "The Coloring Song" (my favorite song at the time). So you could say I've always had good taste in music, LOL.
