That happens with babies as well. Some people stupidly assume that it is either a boy or girl without even bothering to ask and offer compliments such as "She is a beautiful girl!" Now that can be offensive!

Because it's not 1960. Women and men also wear purple, pink, green hair. Young guys and girls wear grey hair... on purpose. They get tattoos and piercings every wear. Even in the privates. Yes. We need to be cultured.
