1) Trump asked the president of Ukraine for material aid that would help his campaign and hurt Biden's.
2) Trump withheld aid, unless Ukraine aided Trump's campaign.
3) Trump requested the firing of the Ukraine ambassador.
4) Trump directed Giuliani and the others to get the dirt on Biden.
5) Giuliani is being paid by oligarchs to send money to the Trump campaign.
6) Trump has violated and asked others to violate legal subpoenas of Congress.
7) Oh yeah, and Biden made Trump request the payment to the women in 2016.

There are many Republican positions as time goes on. Perhaps, testimony by Bolton and Mulvaney, when the courts allow, will change matters.

If the Republican Party wasn't so dysfunctional, they would simply have had one position from the beginning; that sure Trump pressured Ukraine to help him investigate the corruption of the Biden's. And republicans could accept this as "right" or not, consider it to be a minor event, and move one.
