I beg to differ. Medicare--which is modified single payer public health insurance--is extremely popular. A similar system, when properly structured, will be accepted readily, and will be infinitely better than what existed before ACA. (And it needn't be tax funded, btw.)

Sorry...but Not really (and not really having basis for such when trying to go for Romney Care which was a reflection directly of that and others already noted that Romneycare lesson was to be patient with Obamacare....people such as RomneyCare supporter Jim DeMint noting Obamacare wasn't an isssue in 2012 because of Mitt Romney and thus it is an ideological factor when people are quick to demonize every aspect of it without being consistent in noting where they were already prepared for it/quick to note how it'd work out when with others they support ) - it is what it is.
