Not really - Isaiah 53 is referred to by John and Paul (Romans 10:16). It clearly refers to the Jews, namely the unbelieving ones:

John 12:35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. 36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them. 37 But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: 38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?

Could an unbelieving Gentile in this present age go back to these verses as proof that the crucifixion “did” happen and that it is proof that God was orchastrating it all? How else could all of this be predicted hundreds of years before the actual event..Many preachers approach it this way—as evidence of their faith

I don't know. God seems to reach people on an individual level. For some I am sure prophecy like this might make them wake up. Others would probably dismiss it as manufactured. Paul said he argued for ever and a day with the Jews showing them Christ in prophetically fulfilled passages, but there was a veil on their minds......as if only those the Father drew to him could actually come.

not likely, rome was just as guilty if not more being as the pharisees that plotted His death were appointed by rome. none the less rome would rule for another thousand years, the holy roman empire ruled for 900 years, the USA is called the new rome, and the vatican to this day has incredible power, wealth and influence over the world.
so why would the Jews be punished and rome be rewarded? who would reward someone for killing the Lords anointed, who did Paul say was the god of this world? maybe that one . . .

Ws the holocaust Gods punishment of the Jews??
So now we are going to play "Blame the Victims" game?

When we are done with blaming the Jews for the Holocaust, we can start blaming rape victims for their rape, children for being molested, wives for being battered, the poor for being poor.... heck some Christians even enjoy a good ol' game of "you're only sick because you don't have enough faith."

What happens between God and the Jews is between God and the Jews and not the world's business. What is the world's business is what the world does to the Jews, and how the world responds to it.

Nice post—perhaps profound..typical Jewish thinking—smart!

I think there were two reasons for God to allow the
holocaust to happen.

First, to shock the world into creating a homeland
for the Jews. It made them keep their word given
in the Balfour Declaration and passed into law by
the League of Nations.

Second, and harsher. Warnings had gone out to the
Jews for years that persecution was coming. Some
left in time. Many would never have left their homes
and businesses if it weren't for the persecution.

Death may be the worst we can do to each other, but
with God, death is only part of life. Whether now or
in fifty years, it is still a blink in eternity.

The Jews did not kill Jesus. Jesus said He could lay down His life and He could take it back up again. (John 10:18) No one had authority over Jesus. He is God in human flesh that walked among His creation. Ask yourself, did it take the Holocaust to get God's scattered people to return to their land that He gave to them?
