Is Walsingham still on the Orthodox radar?
Zoodochos Pege is is also the dedication of that nice little Orthodox chapel up the stairs at the back of the Anglican Shrine Church of Our Lady of Walsingham. Suitably so, because a big part of the pilgrimages at Lourdes and Walsingham is the use of the water which our Lady showed to her servant. What a shame there is no Catholic Byzantine chapel at Walsingham! How lovely if the historically biritual Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer were able to start one!
I'm sorry. I really did misunderstand. I can't imagine any of the Churches thinking that is ok ...Good grief no !
There's an Anglican Shrine , and RC one and as I understand it a tiny Orthodox Chapel which is in an Anglican Church.
Who Serves the Orthodox Chapel - I don't know
Really? If you get a chance, please let me know where that is? Next time I come by that way, I might like a chance to attend a Western Rite service, just to experience it. I know of no others anywhere near a city I would likely visit. There's a small Western Rite parish near me with her as Patron.

Thank you.
I am curious to see a WR Liturgy/mass sometime.
I know next to nothing about it. I do have a priest friend on FB (bit of an embarrassment to me - we chatted quite a bit about things both mundane and spiritual, and it wasn't until I saw photos posted where he flew to receive some special cross that I asked if he was ordained and I shouldn't be addressing him differently - and he's an Archpriest. I still forget to call him "Father" half the time). But he is WR, and has told me some about it. I didn't realize there were different kinds though, so I'll have to ask him. He talks about an ancient Liturgy, so maybe that's what he means. Now I'd like to see both sometime, but especially the pre-schism one you mention.this has come up in ROCOR, about using the early Western Liturgies more to attract Western Christians. the Liturgy of St. Tikhon I have seen, and if you like it that's awesome, but I found it lacking personally.
now, the pre-Schism Western Liturgies on the other hand are wonderful.
