Vision of a fullfilment of a calling

Hi,
I am a newbie to the site as it is plain to see in my profile. For the past two years I have been serving the Lord again, after walking in the filth and mire of the world for four years. Prior to that I was a Christian and I served the Lord since 1992. Through my travels God brought me through some difficult circumstances, and He is now allowing me the opportunity to use them in order to further the Kingdom. I am writing a book, and by faith I am believing that God will amke a way for it to be published and distributed.
Today I left a firend's house, and I had what I can only call a vision. I saw myself speaking and travelling with a music ministry. Worship has always been my calling, and I KNOW that God is moving me into my calling...but I guess I just have questions for those who have gone before and have found their own full time ministry. In the past year God have provided for us so that when I lost my job, we were able to support ourselves on my husband's salary alone, and he has urged me to begin to write my book. He has placed people in my path who has confirmed through prophesy that this is the time to fulfull my calling.....but my visions from years ago before I fell away are so drastically different from what seemingly God is bringing me into now. My calling has always been youth ministry and worship....I guess I am just simply looking for impartial input and past experiences. I really feel that God is moving me into a full time ministry....

When calls a person;
It is never contrary to His word.
He confirms through His word
He confirms through other people
And He gently demonstrates his call in many ways in differing places at differing times and *wait for it* not always through Christians.
