Uh huh. And they're also the ones who knew what was going to happen, even before Trump gave the speech that supposedly caused it all: Report: FBI warned of ‘violence,’ ‘war’ ahead of riots that killed 5 at Capitol

Perhaps you should get your own facts straight.

I am unsure how this helps the President.
If high government officials knew of the possibility of violence yet didn’t beef up security to stem that violence, the high government officials could be reasonably accused to abetting the violence-makers.

Uh-huh, the Gateway Pundit links in that article are claiming that the Shaman dude, Baked Alaska and Nick Fuentes are all Antifa. That is a spectacularly bad source. If this is where you get your information, then it is no wonder you are so badly disinformed.

Would you rather I relied solely on sources like CNN, MSNBC, ABC, etc. so that all my information will agree with whatever you guys assert?

Are you admitting to looking for sources that buttress your point-of-view regardless of the veracity contained therein?

No, not solely, but you should consider that their facts are often real rather than alternate.

Not often enough to be considered truthful.

Real and accurate does not equate to "truthful" as much as alternate does? The stuff asserted in the GP links is outright false.

@Aldebaran What was so funny about my post? Seriously, you keep jumping around talking points and I have no idea what you're trying to say anymore. First you argue that Harris did the same thing as Trump, then when I disagreed, you accused me of "whataboutism", and when I pointed out that you were the one who initially made a comparison to Trump, you claimed something about a double standard. If you're saying that I have a double standard for condemning Trump for something that Harris also did, then first you have to show that Harris actually did the same thing. Your OP did not establish that. So I'm confused as to what double standard you're actually referring to. Or are we back to you redefining words to mean whatever you want them to mean?

No worse than, "Pigs in a blanket, fry 'em like bacon!" or "Burn it all down!", and then proceeding to do so using molotov cocktails.
And let's not forget the 25 dead people, plus many more maimed or disabled by being hit in the head with bricks.
What political leader did this or encourage this?

I was replying to someone who made reference to "protesting".
Why do you suddenly want to make it about a political leader? Are you trying to distract from what the rioters did, and continue to do?
