It's a powerful word, isn't it? When i think on and meditate on "believe", Abraham comes to mind and why God Himself called Abraham His "friend".

And the bottom line is that it was because Abraham "believed" Him.

Corrie Ten Boom also comes to mind. She had an un-wavering, child-like "faith" in God. She "believed" Him too.

Perhaps it blesses God's heart when we "believe" Him, and perhaps that is only possible if we love, adore, and delight in Him, like David did.

Believe is probably the most powerful word in the Bible. It defines who will get into heaven or not. And it must be the right kind of 'Believe.' In Christ alone!

Amen!!!! It is pivotal to God. It is IMPOSSIBLE to please God without properly "believing" Him.

I'm reminded of Jabez and how against all odds, Jabez went to the God of Israel and ASKED in belief for what he desperately needed. It was aking to that verse in James about the effectual and fervent prayer of a righteous man.....and God answered in the blink of an eye by granting all that Jabez requested.
