I didn't much care for the movie. It was just- I don't know what the word is for it...I think that it could have been a lot shorter than it was and it would have been just as good. It just seemed to stretched out and long...

I thought it had a lot of potential but I didn't care much for it. Special effects were great but I must be old fashioned, I don't care much for changes to the original myths. Underground was a really good vampire/werewolf movie. Nice job on the story of that one.

I didn't really care for it. Of course, the first half of the movie, some 300-pound guy kept turning around and whispering, then yelling, at us to stop kicking his chair - something that wasn't happening. Eventually, he and his significant other (who was a bit angry with him) got up and left. I like to compare the movie to Hellboy, which I thought was more entertaining.

I enjoyed Van Helsing as a kind of spoof actually. Frankly I don't think the tone was dark enough to be taken seriously. Now, Bram Stoker's Dracula, aside from Winona and Keanu's unconvincing accents, it was pure vampire poetry. Van Helsing isn't even in the same ball park. But in a Tomb Raider-Mortal Combat kind of way, Van Helsing was quite entertaining.

That was because of Gary Oldman, and how well he played that part.

I thought it was a great movie. I thought it was terrific for someone who can expand their mind and use their imagination. I like old legends and stories. I thought the visuals were great. The vampires were very realistic. HJ done an excellent job.

I thought it was a terrible movie. The opening black & white scene was great, but everything after that was rubbish. It was as if they'd decided to conduct an experiment to see how many Hollywood cliches they could pack into a single movie.

I thought it was a fair movie. The things I hated was 1.) how they turned Van Helsing from an old country doctor to a kick butt monster tracker. 2.) How they showed Mr. Hyde. In 'Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde', Hyde is younger and small than Jekyll. Not some HUGE gorilla size man.
