So now comes the challenge of Christian living: You and your friend making peace, not a hobbled meager peace, but true peace through forgiveness and contrition found in the mercy and love of God which is in Jesus Christ for both of you.
This ^ is true, "Seeking456."

It does not mean, however, that you have to renew the close association with that other person as it once existed.

Hello Seeking! Good to meet you. Sorry to hear of your situation. I had a broadly similar situation about three weeks with covid+ relatives and a member in my household who is in the 'shielding' category.

Firstly I would advise you to forgive. Forgive as the Lord forgave you (Colossians 3:13). If you hold onto unforgiveness it will do no good and might do you some harm mentally and spiritually.

Secondly though be wise. There is a clan motto here 'Touch not the cat but with a glove', meaning if you mess with the clan Chattan you'll need protection because they're dangerous. In the same way be wary and cautious around this person.

God Bless :)
