"religious tolerance" is, from a secular point of view, "anything goes." From the Christian POV it is heretical. From the non-Christian POV, it is blasphemy.
God bless the Chaplain if he has this understanding.
You have indicated that religous tolerance from a christian POV is heretical.. ie you do not support religous tolerance It implies therefore you advocate religous Intolerance. What would religous Intolerance look like from a christian perspective and secular perspective?
Ahhhhhhh .... the light goes on!!! I am speaking from a Spiritual perspective. The Body of Christ is not a religious organization. It is no organization at all! Authentic Christianity is utterly Spiritual, with no secular connotations. Secularists lump it into "religion," as if they are on equal footing!! Yikes!!

The New Testament definitive definition of religion:
Pure and undefiled religion before the God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their tribulation; to keep oneself unstained from the world. -- James 1
That does, of course, mean that lots of Christians and lots of congregations are not practicing "pure and undefiled religion before the God and Father."
Funny, I never heard that to support and defend the Constitution,
that you have to give up or compromise what the bible says. I can
support the right to religious freedom, and still tell you that most
religions are going to take you nowhere but hell.
