President Bush in a televised statement said officially the United States will not negotiate with terrorists.
So, to me this means, also, how the Bible says not to negotiate with Satanic people > do not let them have power over us, emotionally, to decide how we are and what we do, but instead submit to God and do exactly what He has us doing.
"nor give place to the devil." (Ephesians 4:27)
To me, this means in our thinking, feelings, reacting, emotions, everything > nowhere and in no way are we to give place to Satan, inside ourselves.
"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." (James 4:7)
And so, we need to not allow Satanic people and things to play our attention around. We, then, need to be prayerfully careful about if and how much terrorists and rogue politicians control our attention. Actually, we need to not allow evil people to control our attention, at all, but submit to how You our Heavenly Father through Jesus guide us all the time in Your peace, including with us obeying Colossians 3:15 and Philippians 4:6-7.
And when our attention is brought to various problem people, this is so we care about them in prayer which You are committed to making work for good. With You, we always can do what is good and what amounts to something. But terrorists and media reporting of scum politics can be designed by Satan to fool us into thinking we can't do anything. So, media reporting can be a form of psychological terrorism, and we need to not negotiate mentally with whatever is anti-love and anti-encouragement.
When Abraham obeyed God, here is what the LORD said to Abraham >
"'In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.'" (Genesis 22:18)
So, this is our example to feed on, how if we obey God we can be blessing even "all the nations of the earth" . . . somehow, I would say. Because Abraham was obeying God who is all-loving, he got an all-loving result!!!
Joseph is another example > Genesis 37-50 < Joseph was sold into slavery by his own brothers, then put in an Egyptian prison for what he did not do; but Joseph was faithful to God and so God used Joseph's situation to help to save many people and to now be an example for us. So, there was an all-loving result of what Joseph went through, since God all-loving used Joseph and his trouble for God's all-loving good.
God did not only work things out for Joseph, because God is all-loving; so we need to not allow terrorism and rogue politicians to have power to get us worrying only or mainly about our own selves.
