US Navy Seals -- seem to be a very special breed

I know of three.

My son's good Seal friend.
Instructor.
A lot of self control.
But, best not to test him.
Well proven over and over again.

Retired Seal instructor at our old Church.
He is an Elder at that Church.

Young Seal at our Church now.
Wants to go to school to be a Pastor.
Our Church just made him an intern.

A fine group of men.

That they are.

I used to like the idea, I almost went into the Military Academy purely on my own volition. Ironically, it was my parents who tried to stop me. I wasn't even depressed or anything, I had a great childhood.

I have fairly unique gifts that would be incredibly useful in combat.

What really stopped me is realizing the command structure, almost a blind obedience to the government's agenda. Didn't agree with my principles well.

Although the training and experience you gain from being a soldier seem extremely valuable.

Fully agree with you on that, Bob! My uncle is a Navy SEAL. Proud of him.
