Since the bible in involved, that gives me more of a carte blanche, than a coffee. How sweet it is too.
Bittersweet maybe.

Like prophesy. It is sweet to the saved, but bitter to the unsaved. Even for the saved, once they digest the impact of what will really happen to the world, it is bitter.Bittersweet maybe.

No more than if a plane crashes, it can reassemble itself, raise it's dead passengers, and fly more economically! The results of sin have been apparent all through time. The problem is sin, and sinful man could never also be the solution.Or, you can look at it this way: if humans can mess up the world, there is a chance we could also fix it.

Hah, a plane has no sentience. It is hardly comparable to a person.
Anything with a demonstrated predictable path that cannot change general directions can be compared to some extent. History confirms that man cannot save himself, and that it is only a matter of time before he kills life on earth..if God allowed him to!!!
Being "saved" is a human concept, not a godly one.
And people defy their nature all the time, monks burning themselves alive in an effort to promote world peace and in protest of war, a teenager pushing a stranger out of the way of a car only to get hit and killed themselves, etc.
These acts of kindness and sacrifice know no religious boundaries (although in some religion does inspire what specific action is taken).
Perhaps if we stopped waiting for some deity to save us, more people would make an effort and help humanity save itself.
No one is good...some were just too bad and had to be stopped. Not everyone is good, sure, but I would hardly say that everyone would be like Hitler and Stalin.
