As of this posting a google search shows no MSM reporting this news. I wonder why?

The list of the Dem organizations taking this illegal money is astounding – almost every Dem state organization and many super PAC’s including the big one Priorities USA.

All of the leading names in the Democratic party took in this money including Adam Schiff and Ted Lieu, Jon Tester, Cory Booker, Hillary Clinton, etc.

As to not being covered by mainstream media, there were three stories in the N.Y. Times, but all three mentioned the Republicans involved as well as the Democrats, unlike the story quoted here.

Try a Google search "Khawaja indictment site:nytimes.com", since Khawaja was the first person of the list of those indicted. You'll see articles 3, 4 and 5 days ago (as well as other things). The same search with washingtonpost.com or cnn.com will turn up two articles in the last few days, though I think the cnn.com may be duplicates.

One of the NY Times articles refers to a 2018 investigation by the Associated Press, which found donations to both Republicans and Democrats, so it's probably more than just Trump on the Republican side, though that's all the recent articles mention.

None of the articles talk about the situation from the side of the candidates. The purpose of the scheme was to hide the fact that the donations were illegal. But it was also to get them access to Clinton and Trump. How does that work? Would they have known it was illegal? My assumption is that the nominal American donor would have been the one with access and they would have brought the Saudi along. Is that normal, or should Clinton have been suspicious? I'd guess that she met Saudis on a regular basis.

It doesn't appear that any of the candidates or Trump were indicted. (Well, as the King, I guess you can't indict Trump.)

It probably is true. The story he quoted just omitted a couple of things.

Don't you think that your article's omission of the fact that Trump and the RNC were recipients of these funds, as well as some Democrats, ... makes your article an example of fake news ???

Looks like they got another Republican who helped Trump and a guy who funneled money to the Trump inauguration fund. Khawaja dropped into the Oval Office to meet with Trump after giving him
    $1,000,000.

Please explain where the rest went

"According to the indictment, from March 2016 through January 2017, Khawaja conspired with Nader to conceal the source of more than $3.5 million in campaign contributions, directed to political committees associated with a candidate for President of the United States in the 2016 election."

"Nader and Khawaja were charged on Nov. 7 as part of a 53-count indictment dealt by a federal grand jury in the District of Columbia. The indictment was unsealed on Tuesday.

Khawaja gave more than $4 million to Clinton's campaign and other Democrats during the 2016 cycle but later donated $1 million to President Trump's inaugural committee after Clinton lost, according to the Associated Press. As he shifted his focus to Republicans after the 2016 election, the Lebanese-born Khawaja met with Trump at a Manhattan fundraiser and got a photo with the president in the Oval Office."

LOL, do you think that the Washington Examiner is going to give the facts? Nope...

They are giving their version but the indictment doesn't give specifics about where the money was funneled to. California CEO and Seven Others Charged in Multi-Million Dollar Conduit Campaign Contribution Case

One right wing site said, " “The indictment noted that political committees that received funding unwittingly submitted false disclosure reports and were presumably victims of the plot,” The Washington Post reported.

Indictment Details How Emirates Sought Influence in 2016 Campaign
Here is the press release from the DOJ: California CEO and Seven Others Charged in Multi-Million Dollar Conduit Campaign Contribution Case

A federal grand jury in the District of Columbia indicted Ahmad “Andy” Khawaja, 48, of Los Angeles, California, on Nov. 7, 2019, along with George Nader, Roy Boulos, Rudy Dekermenjian, Mohammad “Moe” Diab, Rani El-Saadi, Stevan Hill and Thayne Whipple. The 53 count indictment charges Khawaja with two counts of conspiracy, three counts of making conduit contributions, three counts of causing excessive contributions, 13 counts of making false statements, 13 counts of causing false records to be filed, and one count of obstruction of a federal grand jury investigation. Nader is charged with conspiring with Khawaja to make conduit campaign contributions, and related offenses. Boulos, Dekermenjian, Diab, El-Saadi, Hill, and Whipple are charged with conspiring with Khawaja and each other to make conduit campaign contributions and conceal excessive contributions, and related offenses.

According to the indictment, from March 2016 through January 2017, Khawaja conspired with Nader to conceal the source of more than $3.5 million in campaign contributions, directed to political committees associated with a candidate for President of the United States in the 2016 election. By design, these contributions appeared to be in the names of Khawaja, his wife, and his company. In reality, they allegedly were funded by Nader. Khawaja and Nader allegedly made these contributions in an effort to gain influence with high-level political figures, including the candidate. As Khawaja and Nader arranged these payments, Nader allegedly reported to an official from a foreign government about his efforts to gain influence.

...An indictment is not a finding of guilt. It merely alleges that crimes have been committed. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
