Unto us a Child is Born, Unto us a Son is given. He will be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace........Isaiah 9. 6-7

The angel on that first Christmas night said "for there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord" Luke 2. 11 If we believe this, then it makes all the difference in the world for us. Life takes on a new dimension..

Centuries after the words spoken by the prophet, Jesus asked the religious leaders this question. What do you think about the Christ? whose Son is He? They said to Him....The Son of David.
The 'Child born' and the Son given' is called 'Wonderful' because He is wonderful. He is a 'Child born' with reference to His human nature and His being born of the virgin. But He is also the 'Son given' with reference to His divine nature and His being the Son of God.

We have said before and say again, there is more factual evidence to support the Birth, Life and Death of Jesus than there is to support any other person who has lived upon the planet.

To as many as receive Him He gives the right to be called the sons of God.

I pray that all who visit this Wesleyan Web Site have a Christmas blessed with Happiness

John 10.22 (Tree of Life version) Then came Hanukkah; it was winter in Jerusalem. 23 Yeshua was walking in the Temple around Solomon’s Colonnade. 24 Then the Judean leaders surrounded Him, saying, “How long will You hold us in suspense? If You are the Messiah, tell us outright!”

"As Derek Prince used to say "Take the Sabbath or the Sabbath will take you"

Derek Prince is renown for his teaching. ...... What in your opinion does he imply, or mean by... such statement?

"If you are the Messiah tell us outright?"

What is the answer to this question.........The answer is most important....even before the question?

God Bless......you and your lovely family.......We love you..........Blessings in Jesus

I knew Dr Prince. Not well but we had several conversations and discussions.

Dr Prince (even back in the mid 1970s) insisted that the congregations that looked to him for leadership taught their congregants to take a sabbath, a day off every week.

The last 2+ decades of his life were lived in Jerusalem. He became involved in the developing Messianic movement; so at the end it seems he meant the Saturday sabbath.

But beyond which day, he said many times that without taking a day off per week, we will just plain wear out.
