Unneeded or unwanted presence?

Just seeking advice for unwanted or unneeded spiritual presence? What do I do? Call upon my Lord for prayer and more worship on Sundays? Or is there something I can do to ward off these things personally?

1. There are Bible texts that specifically provide supernatural power for that sort of thing.. one of them is in Ephesians 6. So starting with Eph 6 - practice "praying the scriptures" - pray them to God and claim them as promises.

2. Immerse yourself in the things of God wayyy more than once a week on Sunday. For example read this free online book - which is the most detailed - and in-depth commentary on the life of Christ known to mankind. The Desire of Ages, by Ellen G. White. Table of Contents

Yes, ramp up focusing on God and His Word. What's some of your favorite Scriptures? When you're aware of an unwanted presence, tell it to go in the name of Jesus and say some of those.

From time to time the devil will attempt to make his presence known to Christians, to try to bring fear, and worry. The key is knowing God, and His word. The more time you spend with God, daily, the better it is spiritually. For we wrestle not against people, the bible tells us, but against principalities and powers, rulers of darkness. These rulers can do nothing without God's permission, know that you are safe in Jesus, and that you have power in Jesus name to be free from their intrusion. The bible tells us if we have faith the size of a small seed we can speak to the mountain be picked up and thrown into the sea and it will obey. Demonic presences may seem like a mountain, but through forceful believing prayer, they can be instantly removed. Yet if they try to remain, be forceful, believing Jesus to remove them. You have power over them to tell them to leave.
