Please explain.I'm confused about your posts, W2L. You seem to jump between points of view.
James would agree, but the more money a religious organization gets, the needs of the poor are not addressed, laws are even passed to outlaw helping the poor.I agree. I also think the Church should take care of widows, orphans, and single moms.
Your posts indicate that you are opposed to abortion, but then your answers to other posts indicate otherwise. Please explain.
That is being turned around in the USA.James would agree, but the more money a religious organization gets, the needs of the poor are not addressed, laws are even passed to outlaw helping the poor.
I oppose abortion. I dont think its in anyone's best interests to abort millions of babies.Your posts indicate that you are opposed to abortion, but then you answers to other posts indicate otherwise.
Helping the poor is a big christian value, so any change in this area is always appreciated. That is being turned around in the USA.
Thank You! Add to that "for any reason."I oppose abortion. I dont think its in anyone's best interests to abort millions of babies.
Should Christians be politically united against abortion?
You need Bible 101. And some insights into electro-chemical processes at the synaptic cleft. It isn't a soul yet without a brain.
Christians will have different answers on the murder of a child in the womb? What kind of "christianity" is that? You might as well ask if Christians should be theologically united on the necessity of baptism for salvation. Different Christians will have different answers.
Does it matter? Isnt God planning on putting a soul into it? Who are we to stand in His way?It isn't a soul yet without a brain.
No, one is about aborting a life, the other about baptism. You might as well ask if Christians should be theologically united on the necessity of baptism for salvation. Different Christians will have different answers.
I dont believe there is any reason to abort millions of babies...Thank You! Add to that "for any reason."
America has plenty of social programs to help the poor.Considering that abortion is not mentioned even once in scriptures, perhaps Christians need to actually be united in following Jesus and his example, and it also probably wouldn't hurt to stop being so politically opposed to programs that help the poor.
There is a whole lot in scripture about God's displeasure over the ill-treatment of the poor by various nations, but somehow it's given little if no importance compared to controlling what goes on inside some other person's womb vs. actually helping people once they are born, and also helping to create healthy and safe environments for children to be born into. Instead, we have "Christians" fighting tooth and nail against every social program and safety net that helps people.
I rarely see anything actually pro-life about the so-called "pro-life" movement.
I think you must live on another planet.Considering that abortion is not mentioned even once in scriptures, perhaps Christians need to actually be united in following Jesus and his example, and it also probably wouldn't hurt to stop being so politically opposed to programs that help the poor.

What do you think God feels about the abortion of millions of babies? There is a whole lot in scripture about God's displeasure over the ill-treatment of the poor by various nations
