Wow! I know many UK Anglicans support euthanasia. I wonder how the UK Catholics generally believe about the issue. I know the RC opposes it.
While not a Catholic, I imagine they are against assisted suicide as a whole. I haven't heard it discussed in my Baptist church or amongst Catholic acquaintances. The lack of talk about it suggests that 1) we know it is against our beliefs 2) that the British aren't that interested in talking about it. It is something that appears on the tv every now and again if there is a news story related to it but I've heard very little about it over the years.

It was spoken about more 2012/2013 at the height of ill feeling towards the sick and disabled.

The Parliament was correct in rejecting that Bill.

While it's creators might have presented the situation as a "mercy", the end result is not mercy but convenience.
and it's against the will of God.
