Upon learning of the USA team defeating Canada in the curling semi-finals, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took a "Razor's Edge" tourney of India.

As much as I threw rocks at things as a kid, I should have joined a curling team. Oh. wait, I grew up in Missouri, we were taught not to go near any frozen water.
Up here, they drive 18 wheelers on the ice.

So a group of guys who were rejected by US Curling persevered and ended up winning our first ever gold medal in that sport? Gotta love a story about rejects overcoming.

How are the mighty fallen! All empires and dynasties eventually fall. It is ironic though that Canada invents hockey and basketball and baseball and like missionaries teach the world to play them only to have our former students bite us in the butt. Such is life.
