Thanks to working the 12 Steps with my sponsor, I am able to say that on Sunday, January 15th, I got two years of sobriety. I was in the hospital till today, so I could not post about it till now.
I have been in AA since 1989, but never completed all 12 Steps till this sobriety. I am grateful for this sobriety, because it comes on the tails of a horrendous 2 years of relapse. Alcoholism is a progressive disease, and I can attest to that fact. I can also attest to the fact that AA's 12 Steps work, if you work them.
