    What is truth?

All I can make of it is,

Truth is like a dove that comes with healing under it,s wings.

Or what do others make of it?

Truth is a PERSON. Not a fact, not a belief. A PERSON.

    John 14:6
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Truth is an accurate description of reality.

Truth is very rare, and precious, and sets people free if and when they find it.

Truth is a belief that probably results in "good" decisions - where "good" is whatever you are wanting as a result.

According to Christianity, there is a possibility of the Second Coming where the faithful will be transformed into their resurrection bodies without death.

Regardless of what "this place" refers to, we will all die eventually, so it's true.

Good you pointed out "this place",
It is more or less a figure of speech, would reckon.

    How about, "Death row"

    Would that be too morbid?

Death row suggests this life is nothing more than a waiting room until we can be punished for a severe crime.

Intresting you should mention soul in connection with truth.

    Here is a quote from the wisdom of the Lubervitcher Rebbe of righteous memory;

    "Blind faith cannot grasp truth,
because it does not grasp anything at all.

    Interllect cannot grasp truth,
because truth is larger than interllect.

Only the eye of the soul,
it,s inner wisdom can grasp truth and know it as
as she knows her own self.

    For she is the truth."

    Thanks. I like the quote.
Not knowing who or what Lubervitcher Rebbe is, I had to use google
More than any other, I'm drawn to the Wisdom traditions.
    Thanks for sharing.
Here's some of the same wisdom from another direction, that being Rumi.

"I have been a seeker and still am,
but I stopped asking the books and the stars.
I started listening to the teaching of my Soul."

I look to philosophy to understand truth and knowledge and belief and faith. These are aspects of reason, of metaphysics.
