Let me stop you right there: the Republicans elected as President of the United States a guy who spent all of President Obama's administration claiming he wasn't even legally President because he wasn't a citizen. Let's just look at that fact for a second... I see you joined CF in 2015, I've been here since 2002, that means I was here throughout most of the second President Bush and all of President Obama's administration. And let me tell you a simple fact: the stuff you see being posted today? Not even sort of as bad as what people would say about President Obama. So you can come on here and throw your hands up as much as you like and mourn over "the vitriol, the vitriol!" but please don't be offended if I just shake my head and chuckle when I hear any of President Trumps supporters make that sort of claim.
I will point out one miracle that happened when President Trump took office: All those Scriptures about "God appointing the leaders of a country" and how "Christians are supposed to honor and obey them!"? those ones that mysteriously disappeared out of evangelicals Bibles during the 8 years of President Obama's administration? They all suddenly reappeared in their Bibles in Jan of 2017! So there you go, you really can't say I didn't point out a miracle that apparently happened because President Trump got elected.

I don't know about the honor and obey thing. The Bible tells us to obey our laws. It doesn't say we have to think our president is wonderful or love the idiology. I don't know what the deal is but you seem to have something against evangelicals. Why is that? Because the majority of us are conservatives? You and I have a right to have different political opinions. Neither of us have a right to hatred and vitriol no matter who is president. The left in the country have expressed a hatred of this president and spewed vitriol like I've never seen.
To be clear I am not talking about you specifically.
The biggest thing you and other lefties continue to miss or intentionally ignore (and I'm not sure why) is that us evangelicals had to plug our collective noses when we pulled the voting lever. We had two choices here. Scumbag 1 who wanted to do everything we don't want them to do OR Scumbag 2 who wanted to do things we wanted done.
Had scumbag 1 been elected we would have been upset as we watched our country continue to decline and become more socialist. But at least she would have been loved by the media and Hollywood and every other leftist organization and all she did was would have been gold.
Evidence? Obama gassed a lot of people at the border. There was ZERO outrage from the left including the media. Trump does it and the world goes beserk.
We evangelicals obeyed Obama. So don't bring up such a false claim. It lessens your credibility.
